What a shambles! It’s evidently nothing more than a ploy to part you with your hard-earned cash. They ring up claiming your Microsoft licence has lapsed and insist they must help you renew it. After I phoned them back to request they take my number off their list, this so-called "gentleman" simply told me to shove off - quite rude, if you ask me - before hanging up without a second thought.
