I've been getting calls at work from these folks saying they'll deduct money from my pay if I don't settle a credit card bill, but I've never even opened a credit card with them.

A couple of weeks back, I got a call about some legal issue from another state, but it was actually for my mum who’s disabled. I work for the government and have no outstanding court stuff at all. I reckon it’s just some dodgy debt collectors. Today, they rang me at work and left a voicemail, saying they want to chat, but they gave two wrong addresses, probably trying to trick me into ringing back. I had some bad credit history ages ago, more than ten years ago, so it's well beyond any legal time frame. Not wasting my time with these lot.
