I've been getting persistent notifications on my computer claiming I’ve got a virus and that they're from PC Keeper. To make matters worse, they're now ringing me up, offering their so-called services to sort the issue out. Who exactly are these folks?

Whatever you do, do NOT answer that phone call! It's a scam. An older relative here got caught up in it. They were on the line for a staggering three-quarters of an hour, with the scammer claiming there were “hundreds” of security breaches. They even gained remote access and had the audacity to get hold of a credit card, attempting to charge a whopping £800 just as I got home and put a stop to it. I've since reported everything to the genuine Microsoft. We had to cancel our credit card out of caution. Today, they’ve phoned us six times back to back. We chose not to pick up. Our bank manager mentioned he receives several such scam calls each week.

Claimed I was receiving poor alerts on my computer, but the truth is, I don’t even own a computer!

I can hardly believe how foolish I've been! Those unscrupulous, dodgy characters managed to swindle me out of £200 under the guise of "fixing" issues with my computer, which I have a strong suspicion they created in the first place. I've gone ahead and flagged this number to the authorities in Washington, but honestly, I wouldn’t hold my breath for any action on their part. The last I heard was that my computer had been compromised. I only discovered it after contacting Amazon about a supposedly "missing" £100 gift card. It turns out it was nicked by some bloke named Tom Lessard, a banker entangled with this lot. They are the very hackers they warned me about! I’m absolutely livid!

I've been receiving persistent phone calls from a fraudster claiming to represent a company called Allpcexperts, going by the name Jack Morris. This individual insists that my computer is sending out faulty messages and is demanding access to it. It's become incredibly tiresome as they just won't cease their relentless calls.

I’ve received about six or seven calls from a particular number today. Finally, curiosity got the better of me, so I picked up. The bloke on the other end claimed to be the one who had worked on my computer previously. I’ve got no malware or anything dodgy on my device, mind you!

I’ve been inundated with calls today, three times in fact, each time from a different number. They claim to be from the "Windows Technical Department." I’ve made it abundantly clear each time that I don’t use Windows, opting instead for Linux and Android, yet they persist. Their numbers seem untraceable, leading me to believe they’re utilising VOIP technology to disguise their actual contact information. It’s becoming a tiresome nuisance as they ring constantly, usually a few times a week, but today has already seen three of them! Honestly, the best course of action is to simply ignore these calls. I strongly suspect these calls are originating from a call centre in India-probably the same lot that our authorities recently shut down for impersonating the IRS. It feels like India has firmly established itself as the go-to hub for such operations, and all we can do is put up with it.

I’ve been bombarded by these absolute jokers ringing me up. Clearly, they’re nothing but fraudsters!

I had an odd encounter earlier when they attempted to gain entry to my computer. I clarified that I don’t possess one, which led to a rather bizarre line of questioning about how I connect to the internet. I mentioned I use my mobile, to which they inquired further if it was an iPhone. I affirmed it was. Then, they promptly began insisting I provide personal details, to which I firmly refused. They switched me over to a woman, and as I was reiterating that I have six computers but no phones, I accused her of being a fraudster. And just like that, she hung up on me! How very rude!

I've received a barrage of about 20 calls regarding my supposedly compromised computer. I tried explaining to the chap that I don’t even possess a computer at home. So I can't quite fathom how my nonexistent device could be breached!

I received a call from someone claiming to be Peter William, supposedly affiliated with Metro Security 247. It’s fascinating how these scammers operate! I can’t help but throw them off with some eccentric queries. For example, I asked, "If my computer has an issue, why didn't it mention it to me directly?" Then, I cheekily added that I ought to consult my computer first about the risks of chatting with random strangers. It’s entertaining to see their reactions!

I've had the misfortune of getting three calls from this outfit in less than a day. During one of the conversations, I made it abundantly clear that I wasn’t interested and requested them to refrain from calling me in the future. Yet, mere hours later, the same caller rang me up again. When I reiterated that I’d just spoken with them and had no interest, they had the audacity to respond, “I understand, but ...” I firmly told them to stop calling me and hung up. Quite the nuisance, I'd say!

I've had the misfortune of being hounded by these chaps for the fourth time in just three days. They’re insisting that my IP address has been compromised by some shady character in Mexico. I made it clear that I didn’t want any more of their nonsense, yet they keep on ringing. So, I decided to have a bit of fun and told them my computer had jetted off to Mexico for a wedding! Well, I reckon I might have sorted it out, but if not, at least I had a chuckle. Just remember not to give these blokes anything; make it tough for them instead. They’re clearly just casting their nets wide, hoping to reel something in. Cheers, Captain Joe Nokomis, Florida

Absolutely dodgy! They were fishing for a way into my computer, claiming that someone was attempting to breach my internet connection. Don't let these con artists anywhere near your system! Their accent sounded foreign, which is a huge red flag!

I just had a rather peculiar call come through. I picked up, and the chap on the other end claimed to be from Network Secure 78, asking if I had any connections in Mexico. I replied with a simple 'no' and decided to end the conversation there. To my surprise, he rang back shortly after, and my husband took the call, firmly telling him not to bother us again. Quite the nuisance, really!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft. It's infuriating! Just a bunch of dodgy characters from less fortunate backgrounds attempting to filch credit card details.
