Got a call from someone saying my IP was hacked by folks overseas and they needed to fix my computer. They said they were Apple support or something like that. I just told them to get lost!

Got a voicemail earlier today telling me to hold off on using my phone and gadgets until I could get in touch with support.

Just like a lot of others mentioned, they told me not to use any gadgets until I ring them back on another number. Then they said only a desktop or laptop would work to check my issue. Problem is, I don’t own a desktop at all, I just use my phone or iPad for everything. It definitely came across as fishy to me. Plus, I could hear people with foreign accents in the background, which didn’t help matters.
