I experienced something quite similar. Just received a call that ended abruptly. It was clearly an automated system, as I heard a recorded message stating that the person at extension whatever was currently engaged on another line. Is there any way to conduct a reverse search for 0844 numbers? Generally speaking, we tend to avoid engaging with anyone who cold calls us. If we happen to be interested in their service, we typically let them know politely that we're not interested, and then we proceed to do our own research to find a supplier who suits our needs better than what these callers are offering.

Quite similar to what others have mentioned, I've received two calls from this number and just hung up both times. Instead of calling back, we simply typed the number into a search engine and came across this site.
