I've recently learned that this is a total scam. I reached out to ARM, and they’ve confirmed they’ve been compromised, which means all our details are at risk. I’ve gone ahead and lodged a police report, and they’re diligently trying to track where those calls are coming from. So, to the scammer who might be reading this, I’m utterly fed up with your incessant calls twice a day - just know that I’m fully aware of your game!

Today, I received a similar call from this Amélie Larouche. I’m so glad I did my homework before returning the call! However, there’s something that’s really nagging at me... how on earth do they manage to know our names?! 😒

I received a call from someone identifying themselves as "Émili Larouche," attempting to get in touch with my sister, who hasn't lived here for over three years. They insisted she should return the call "as soon as possible" and claimed it was "quite important." It's all so vague, and to top it off, the number was still marked as "unknown." Honestly, what a dodgy situation! Do I seem like an easy target or something? Absolutely baffled!

I received a call from a withheld number, and the person on the line asked for someone I didn’t recognise. When I requested their phone number, they mentioned the one listed above and claimed to be from Quebec. It all seems rather dodgy, and I'm seriously considering reporting this fraudulent group. I might even involve the police to address this situation.

How odd, there's no extension number at all? Isn’t this meant to be a government body? I can just picture them wanting my National Insurance number and all sorts of sensitive information for identity theft purposes! Their message certainly raises eyebrows, especially the one they left for my teenager: Regarding TAX. No one fancies tangling with the taxman, so you'd think it would be wise to return the call and clarify any misunderstandings. But it seems they've got their sights set on personal details that would help them carry out transactions.
