This has to be a scam. I got in touch with ARM and they told me their system got hacked and all our details are compromised. I’ve already filed a report with the police and they’re trying to track where these calls are coming from every time they ring me. To whoever’s behind this, if you’re reading this - I’m fed up with you ringing me twice every day, I’m not falling for it!

So, I got a call from this Amélie Larouche today too. Lucky me I checked things out before ringin' back! One thing that's bugging me though... how on earth do they already know our names?! 😒

Just had some "Emili Larouche" ring up asking for my sister who moved out more than T H R E E years ago. She kept saying to call back "as soon as possible" and how "it's really important" or something... total rubbish and the caller ID was all "unknown" as well. What a sketchy loser, like I’m daft enough to fall for that crap smh.

Ils prétendent être une agence de recouvrement, mais en fait, ils cherchent juste à soutirer nos données pour commettre un vol d’identité. Faut surtout pas les rappeler !!

They keep ringing me up like 4 times every week, each time using a different name. Left me a message saying it's some work-related issue that I need to sort out straight away.

Got a call from a private number recently, the person kept asking for someone I didn’t know. When I asked for their number, they gave me this one, said they were calling from Quebec. It just seemed really fishy to me, like it might be some kind of scam. I’m seriously thinking about reporting it to the police, I reckon something needs to be done about these dodgy callers.

Just got a call from ARM, some debt collection agency. Pretty sure it’s one of those recovery companies.

Strange, there wasn’t any extension number provided at all? You’d think a government agency would include that! I’m guessing they’ll end up asking for my National Insurance number or some other personal details as part of an identity theft scam. They left a message that grabbed my teenager’s attention too, just saying it was about TAX. No one wants to mess with the tax office, so it might seem right to call back and clear things up. But really, what they’re after are personal details that could be used to carry out fraud.

Each time the phone rings, it’s a different name on the line, and honestly, it’s hard to figure out who’s actually calling.

Cette boîte m'appelle aussi parfois, comment avez-vous réalisé que c'était eux exactement ?

Yeh, I reckon so too.

They didn’t mention who they actually were, just gave a name of the person talking - who knows if it’s even real?

No number for their post either.

Just got a call from some lady, Renée Laflamme or something, askin for a Mr. Copeau... Definitely the wrong number! ARM
