This has to be a scam. I've been receiving calls from loads of different numbers about some tax fraud thing. If it was genuine, surely they’d just leave a voicemail with one reliable number to contact instead of ringing from all these random numbers? Doesn’t seem right to me.

Wasn’t really bothered by it. I figure if it’s serious, they’ll come round with a subpoena or something. Pretty sure the tax office doesn’t call people on the phone anyway.

Got a call from some robo voice claiming I owed money to the US Treasury. I tried ringing back that number but it just went straight to voicemail, definitely a scam.
