Got a call about some scam for £25,000. They told me to ring a free number but never said a word before that, so I’m clueless how they got my details in the first place. When I phoned the free number, some woman called Allison picked up and shut me down straight away, didn’t even let me say anything before she said “bless you” and hung up.

This number is definitely a scam when you call back. Someone picked up and just said they were from the “Gift claim department” but didn’t say what company they were with. When I told her I was returning their call, she asked for my name but only after I mentioned the voicemail they left. I gave just my first name and asked her again which company she was working for, but all she did was repeat the message from the voicemail. Then I pressed her on who exactly she represented, and she hung up straight away. Pretty clear it’s a con. The number shows as 1-815-496-0605 from Sheridan, IL.
