I just got hit with a £25.40 bill for a call that lasted 42 minutes when I was trying to upgrade my package with Sky. Had I been aware of how expensive it was to phone them, I wouldn’t have bothered calling in the first place. It’s ridiculous to charge so much when you’re phoning to sign up to their services. The call dragged on because I wasn’t directed to the right person straight away, and ended up being passed around twice, each time left waiting on hold for ages. I’m definitely planning to contest this charge.

I tried to get my broadband with SKY cancelled and ended up with a bill of £14 for just about 20 minutes on the phone. Totally ridiculous!

I rang this number to sort out my account with Sky. It ended up taking 13 minutes, and guess what? They charged me nearly £9. Absolutely ridiculous.

I’ve got no clue who rang me, but just looked at my phone statement and it’s £18.53 for 36 minutes! Ridiculous. They really ought to be tracked down and made to pay for it. Proper cheeky.
