i get these calls all the time from someone saying they're fairstone, but the moment i tell them i checked with my nearby office and they havent called me, they just shut off the call right away.

I got three voicemails back to back from a woman with a strong accent saying she was from Fairstone and claimed it wasn’t a sales call, telling me to ring her back straight away. I rang her back and left a message but then checked online and found out it’s a scam. They phoned once more but this time I just ignored it!

I reckon this number is linked to Fairstone debts, probably for folks who’ve fallen behind, maybe just a day or more overdue. I gave them a ring, and the person said I hadn’t paid something on my account but couldn’t actually say when it was due. They claimed I was 5 days late but I never got any bill, even though the shop I bought from definitely has my proper address. When I tried to find out if interest was being charged, the agent just said I need to ring customer service myself and gave me the number 18886382274.

Got a recorded message pushin me to ring them back. Totally a scam, I didn’t call them at all. Funny thing is, my experience’s pretty much the same as the first one here - I bought a bed and it’s financed with Fairstone. I’m up to date with all my payments and can tell this is just a dodgy attempt to get money.

Got a totally random call from someone in India, didn’t ask for it or anything.

I've been getting loads of calls from someone claiming I ordered a bed and missed a payment by two days. They knew my name but nothing else. The problem is, I've never bought a bed, so no idea how they even got my details. The guy on the phone spoke with a really strong Indian accent and said he was from Fairstone. I rang Fairstone Financial myself, and they told me they hadn’t made any such calls. This has all the signs of a scam for sure.
