Instead of a person, I got a recorded message saying something like “Sorry, the application was an error.” What on earth does that even mean? Plus, the message repeated itself twice before the line just went silent. What’s even more bizarre is that usually when you pick up or a voicemail kicks in, the timer on the phone starts counting seconds - you know, 1, 2, 3, and so on. I tried calling twice and not once did that timer show up… really strange, right? It’s like whoever left the message never actually “picked up” and just ended the call abruptly. I’m not clever enough to figure this one out, maybe someone better with tech stuff can explain it!

I remembered I had a chest x-ray at Community Radiologists and paid for it in cash. Later, they sent me a bill for a different amount which I also paid. I told her I didn’t know about any other charges so I couldn’t give her the billing details she wanted. She gave me an email to explain my situation so they could remove my name from their records. I emailed right away but got a message that the address was invalid, so the email didn't go through. Just a heads up, don’t freak out if someone calls about a debt - it might not be legit.

If some telemarketer or supposed debt collector rings you up, just ask for their lawyer's contact details. Then your own lawyer can get in touch and say that a Harassment Lawsuit has already been filed against them and their firm. It’s a good way to shut them down fast.

I've had one for over five years now and haven’t had a single annoying call since. It really does the trick.

I got a call from someone claiming I owed two medical debts, one for £15 and another for £30.
