Was working on my office PC when a random pop-up appeared, telling me to ring this number claiming to be Microsoft support. But then they start pushing you to buy a warranty or something fishy like that. Definitely felt like a scam to me. It even froze my Chrome browser, had to force quit it to get it back. Now I’m a bit anxious they might have got access to my data or something.

Total scam! Some lot called me claiming my computer was infected with a virus, all just a sneaky ploy to push their security software on me.
