I got this rather dodgy pop-up on my work PC, claiming to be from a Microsoft help desk. They had the audacity to provide a number to ring, but eventually, they were pushing some sort of extended warranty and other nonsensical products. It absolutely reeks of a scam! My Google Chrome froze up completely thanks to this palaver, but I managed to terminate the tasks and sort it out. Now, I can’t help but fret about the possibility of them fishing for my personal details.

What a shambles! They phoned claiming that my computer was infected with a virus, attempting to hawk some dodgy security software. Absolute nonsense!
