So today I got a voicemail from someone called Mark Wallace - he said to ring 8444690788 if I had any info about a person I didn’t know, and hinted he’d contact the police. When I tried to ring back to say they’d got the wrong number, it just went to a recorded message saying the line was reserved for Anthem, then cut off busy. Strange thing is, on my caller ID it showed the number as 844-369-0788. I phoned that one and ended up speaking to someone at a financial company, though I could hardly catch what they said. I asked if a Mike Wallace worked there, and she confirmed he did. Once I told her I had no idea about the person they were after, she said she’d removed my number from their list. Guess we’ll see if it stops now.

this bloke called mark wallace rang trying to find my sister, said they were gonna move things forward, asked where she was. I was just like, what the heck... definitely spam.

I got a voicemail from someone called Mark Wallace. He said he was trying to reach my daughter about some issue but didn’t provide any case number or details. He asked where she was and mentioned that if he couldn’t find her, he’d have to get the proper authorities involved. He finished by leaving this number for me to call back.
