9 yearsGot a call from some bloke asking me to turn on my computer, never said which one though. I asked for his number so I could check who he really was. Had an Indian accent and sounded like he knew what he was talking about. Wasn’t having any of it, just told him I wasn’t convinced and decided to look up the number online. Ended up finding this forum, so glad I didn’t fall for it!9 yearsThey've rung me two days running now, saying my computer's been hacked. Yesterday, I was trying to sort out a new Barclays credit card on my laptop when suddenly a big red screen popped up with words about something malicious. Then I tried my iPad and the same kind of warning appeared, saying if I kept going I'd risk damaging my device. I clicked return anyway but nothing seemed to happen. I'm not sure how they could’ve gotten into my devices, maybe they just want my passwords? Also, my iPhone got two access attempts from abroad, the good thing is Apple asked me to approve or block it straight away. I'm worried my iPad might already be compromised and I haven’t got a clue how to handle this. I do loads of online shopping but I’ve switched everything over to my debit card now. Any advice would be really appreciated!AppleSubmit Your Own Report (0844 441 4470)
