12 yearsI got a rather alarming voicemail today from some so-called "company" claiming they were going to deliver legal papers regarding check fraud. Curious, I decided to give them a ring back, only to be met with a guy who simply said, "litigation." He went on to make all sorts of unfounded accusations about me supposedly writing dodgy cheques and wouldn’t reveal anything more than an old bank account number of mine. Clearly, it’s a dodgy operation looking to scare folks into handing over cash. I strongly advise against engaging with them.
