Got a call around 5.20pm on the 25th of March, 2016. When I answered, there was nothing but silence.

They were asking for my card info straight away, which seemed really dodgy to me. Definitely not something I’d trust without knowing who they are first.

Like many times before, I picked up and there was nothing but silence, which makes me think this number is linked to some sort of automated scam system or data collector. It’s the usual ploy - blasting out calls nonstop to tons of random numbers, hoping to find a live line and someone on the other end. I’ve read that if you don’t say anything when you answer or don’t give your name, these robocallers just mark your number as active and keep ringing until they manage to catch you talking, probably storing whatever you say. My advice? Just block it on your phone and save yourself the hassle.

Everytime I pick up the call, there's just silence and then the line disconnects suddenly.
