Got a voicemail from them about some legal issue, saying we had to call before the day ended or they'd inform the relevant authorities. When I rang back, the woman on the line was quite unhelpful and abrupt. She insisted they had the wrong person, then oddly asked for the last four digits of my social security number. I explained it was about my husband and we didn't recognise the other name they mentioned. She kept saying they’d contacted the wrong person. Honestly, I would have expected a legal firm to be a bit more thorough before leaving a message that just scares a complete stranger like that.

Somebody called me saying I owned some property or something like that. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.
