I received a voicemail today, stating there was some sort of legal issue and that we had to return the call by the day's end, otherwise they would contact the relevant parties. When I called back, the woman on the line was decidedly unfriendly. She mentioned that they had reached the wrong individual. Then she proceeded to inquire about the last four digits of my social security number! I clarified that she had called about my husband and that we were unfamiliar with the name she mentioned. At that point, she reiterated that it was indeed the wrong person. One would think that as a legal firm, they should carry out a bit more due diligence rather than causing unnecessary alarm with their voicemail!

I've been told that I supposedly own a piece of property or something along those lines.
