I've been receiving persistent calls from these people claiming I owe them something. The catch is they refuse to provide me with any details unless I divulge my own personal information. It’s rather frustrating! Does anyone have any advice on how I can put an end to these incessant calls?

Today, I've received a barrage of calls at work-three times, to be precise-from these individuals who are leaving messages with some sort of claim number. They insist that I owe them from a payday loan, which is utterly baffling, as I've never even taken one out! It’s disheartening to see how far some folks will go to swindle others out of their hard-earned cash. When I looked up the number, the very first result screamed SCAMMERS! Honestly, I’m just fed up with it all.

I recently received a call from a number in New Jersey, specifically 201-292-8384. They instructed me to reach out to them using the number they provided alongside a claim reference. They also mentioned that if I wasn’t the intended recipient of the message, I could simply ignore it. Is there any way to put an end to these calls?

I'm experiencing the same nonsense where they're messing with me and seem to have details about me that they shouldn't. I've never taken out a loan, not even once...

I've been receiving persistent calls from this firm, and it's quite distressing. They seem intent on extracting money from me, even though I've never taken a loan with them. I've been warned repeatedly about potential legal action, which is causing me a lot of anxiety. I'm in desperate need of assistance.

I received a rather dubious call on my wife's phone, where an automated voice claimed to be handling a claim and then provided a name along with a claim number. Curious, I decided to ring them back using Skype, only to find myself subjected to a lengthy ten-minute hold with nothing but more automated messages. They were utterly vague about the company’s identity or any relevant details. Naturally, I turned to Google to investigate the number and quickly realised they were nothing more than con artists. I’ve taken the precaution of blocking the number on my wife’s phone, sending it straight to the auto-reject list. Fortunately, they haven’t reached my number yet, but rest assured that I intend to add them to my blocked caller list on my iPhone the moment they do. I strongly urge anyone receiving a similar call to refrain from sharing any personal details and insist on obtaining all documentation related to this supposed loan. They are legally obliged to provide it!

I've just had yet another call from the number 844-226-8637; they left a message with a claim number - 3425691 to be precise. Strangely, they never mention who they are or what company they represent-just that elusive phone number and that claim number. Oddly enough, I’ve never taken out a payday loan, despite what some others have mentioned in their comments. All loans I've had in the past have been settled completely, and that’s all documented on my credit report. It feels very dodgy, to say the least.

I've been receiving daily calls from individuals who seem to know me, yet I have no clue who they are. It's baffling how they've obtained my number. Anyone else experiencing this peculiar situation?

I've been receiving some rather troubling reports that this number has been persistently harassing my brother-in-law and his wife, claiming to be searching for either my husband or myself. The issue is that neither of us has ever taken out a payday loan, and now they've the audacity to suggest that I didn't seek proper consent to use their names and contact details as references. Let me clarify: under no circumstances would I misuse their information in such a way without their explicit agreement. It’s all very peculiar since my husband and I haven’t had a single phone call related to this matter, which raises my suspicions, especially considering we only use mobile phones at home and have no landline. I'm at a bit of a loss regarding how to get them to cease their incessant calls to my family; I could potentially reach out to them myself, but to be honest, I wouldn’t divulge anything to them.

I keep receiving the same nonsense, so I simply tell them to shove it and wish them a pleasant day!

I've been inundated with calls on both my mobile and my husband's, ringing us at least four times daily! I've been ignoring them and letting them go to voicemail, only to be greeted by a robotic message that just states my first name and a reference number. This evening, I finally decided to pick up. A chap with a foreign accent was on the other end, inquiring about why I was calling him. I reminded him, quite incredulously, that he was the one who contacted us! Then, he unnervingly recited my full name along with the last four digits of my National Insurance number. He alleged I was under investigation for attempting to defraud a bank concerning a payday loan. I firmly told him that I never applied for such a loan, to which he replied with an address I don’t live at. When I said "that’s not me," he abruptly hung up on me!

I received a call from them too, and they mentioned something similar. To be honest, I can't remember ever applying for a loan. However, they were rather unhelpful and refused to provide me with any details.

I received a rather annoying call earlier, stating it was intended for someone named Denny Fair, reference number 3385546. They insisted I should return the call if I was Denny, otherwise I should just disregard their message. Honestly, what a load of nonsense! These callers seem to ring my number three times a day - beyond infuriating!

It seems they've been ringing my former husband, searching for me after I requested they refrain from contacting my workplace again. It looks like they’re keen to pester someone. I've advised him to firmly tell them to knock it off with the calls.

I encountered some extremely uncivil individuals when I attempted to speak to someone directly. They wouldn't disclose the company’s real name or provide any meaningful details whatsoever. As soon as I mentioned that I wasn't the individual they were looking for and asked to have my number taken off their call list, they cut me off before I could even finish my sentence! Quite appalling, to say the least.

I received some alarming threats about being taken to court, and they shockingly had access to my National Insurance number. They accused me of defaulting on a loan, which is utterly absurd, as I've never taken out a loan in my life.

Received a call claiming I owe £400 from a loan I supposedly took out in 2012. The thing is, I’ve never borrowed that amount! They threatened court action, to which I responded, “Be my guest!” Now they’ve offered to settle for £550, but I flatly refused. I told them, "I’m ready for court!"

I’ve had this number ringing me at work for the past fortnight, and now it seems they've also begun contacting my relatives. It’s quite bewildering how they managed to dig up my family’s details. I attempted to return the call, but it appears that the line I’m after is currently out of service and isn’t able to receive any voice messages. It’s all a bit frustrating, to say the least!

In the past three weeks, I’ve been inundated with calls directed at both my children and myself. It's quite alarming as they appear to possess my Social Security number, bank account details, and even where I work. The manner in which they speak is quite threatening, hinting at legal action and court proceedings. The unsettling thing is, I’ve never even applied for a payday loan!

I've been getting relentless calls on both my mobile and landline. The callers claim that I've taken out a payday loan and failed to repay it. They’re insisting that the account in question hasn’t been active since 2007 or 2008! I've made it clear to them that this is a scam, and I've no intention of tolerating it any longer; I’ll be reporting this nonsense.

I've recently received calls where they’ve started contacting my relatives to track me down. I’ve never even taken out a payday loan, but I plainly told them that. If this continues, I won’t hesitate to see them in court. It’s absolutely outrageous that they’re reaching out to my family and providing my number to them. This nonsense needs to come to an end!

I've been bombarded by these individuals relentlessly contacting my mobile, landline, and work phone regarding a loan that I’ve never even applied for. It’s quite baffling, as they’ve now started reaching out to my friends and family as well. Tomorrow, I’m absolutely going to report this to the fraud unit at the Secretary of State's office. Utterly despicable scammers!

I've been getting calls to my home on a daily basis, and it often happens more than once or even twice a day. They keep insisting they have a claim to discuss and they always leave behind a claim number. The thing is, I've got no loans or debts of any sort, so I’ve decided to just ignore these calls altogether.

I've been getting persistent calls from this number, and even though I've blocked them, they've now started harassing my children. It's absolutely infuriating! These pesky spammers really ought to find someone else to target. I simply don’t have the time or the tolerance for this nonsense. Plus, just to clarify, I've never applied for a payday loan or anything of the sort!

I received a call from this number, which inquired about my husband. They requested the last four digits of his social security number, claiming that this would allow them to discuss the call further with me. Naturally, I was curious and pressed them for their identity and the reason for their call, but they refused to provide any details. It was quite clear to me that they were from overseas, and I felt a strong urge to distrust them. If they indeed wanted to speak to my husband, why on earth wouldn’t they use his actual phone number? Instead, they chose to ring mine. To add to the strangeness, they quoted a claim number, insisting it was linked to him, but the call sounded like a mere automated message. My husband has no debts, so their reasons appeared highly dubious.
