Got a call at work from someone claiming to be a debt collector, saying we owed 180 quid for an Amerigas bill that was overdue. Funny thing is, we don’t even use Amerigas! I asked for which location, and all they could give me was our PO box number. Told them to email us the invoice so we could check it out properly. Of course, no email came through. Total con artists, honestly.

I refused to verify an outdated address they mentioned, so they just ended the call on me.

They keep ringing non stop, like seriously just stop already. They claimed it was about some personal business. I told them I’ve got no business stuff going on, just my regular city job. Then they said they’d ring back later. Yeah right, not happening. BLOCKED lol

I got a call from someone claiming to be from Contracts Incorporated, asking me to confirm my address. I told them to explain what it was about or I’d end the call. They said it was something personal, so I just ended the call straight away.

They ring me like 4 or 5 times everyday, even tho I blocked the number and told the authorities. Still keep buzzing though. Honestly, better to just let it go to voicemail and not pick up.

Got a call today and when I picked up, they immediately started asking about addresses without ever saying which company they were from. They mentioned calls are recorded and monitored, then jumped back to the address stuff. I told them no, and then they asked for the last four digits of my social. I stayed quiet and asked why they were contacting me. They just said it was a personal business call, which sounded dodgy to me. Anyone who deals with legit business calls usually knows who they're chatting with. Felt like a classic fishing scam, so I just hung up and didn’t give them a single bit of info.

They claimed to be from some company called Contractors Inc, saying they were a debt collection agency.

I got a call but no one spoke or answered properly. From what I gathered from another person’s comment, they were asked if the address was theirs. I also got a call from a different number about my address, and when I mentioned it was private, the person said they were from a national courier service. I rang the company myself after that and was told the woman isn’t legitimate, so just be careful out there.

Someone rang me asking if I was still living at an old address they had on file. I told them yes and then hung up. Even after blocking the number, they keep calling but never leave any voicemail. It's a bit annoying!
