What a dreadful situation! It's absolutely beyond me why our government can't put an end to this relentless torment. These con artists ought to be thrown behind bars, preferably with the more hardened criminals, so they can experience a bit of rough justice. Perhaps a good fright in a prison cell would finally teach them a lesson!

Absolutely a fraudulent scheme! Microsoft bears no responsibility in this. They're merely leveraging their reputable name to deceive people.
I'd advise you to steer clear of that number altogether. It's quite baffling that any official organisation hasn't managed to trace this bogus phone number; but then again, it seems like they're preoccupied with ignoring fundamental rights for the public!

For several months now, I've been bombarded with a notice claiming to be a "Microsoft Error Report Alert." Thankfully, I've steered clear of ringing the number 1-800-816-0380, as I have a hunch it's a bit fishy. They've been referencing "Fort Portal, Uganda" and similar strange locations. Does anyone know if this is a scam? It seems to arrive exclusively at one of my numerous email accounts. If anyone has any advice on how to put an end to this nuisance, I'd greatly appreciate it. Cheers!

I got an utterly fake message.

I recently got an email from the Microsoft Team warning me about some dodgy activity linked to my account, apparently originating from Nigeria. I’ve attempted to reach out to Microsoft for clarification, but after being shuffled through twenty different automated voice systems, I still haven't managed to speak to anyone for over an hour. It’s left me wondering if this email is even genuine. Is there anyone here who can shed some light on this? My frustration with Microsoft is mounting, as it's like trying to converse with a wall; all I encounter are those pesky bots! Come on Microsoft, can we please sort this out?
