Phone number ☎️ 8008157918 👆 is reported as associated with multiple scams involving fraudulent tech support claims. Callers impersonate legitimate companies, alleging virus infections or hacking attempts, and request remote access to computers. Victims are pressured into paying via gift cards or bank withdrawals for unnecessary "repairs" or warranties. The callers often use convincing accents and names, and some have contacted victims repeatedly with alarming but false claims. Although some numbers resemble those of real companies, these incidents have caused financial loss and computer issues. It is strongly advised not to engage, never provide payment or access, and report such calls to your bank and appropriate authorities. Exercise caution and verify with trusted sources before sharing any information or allowing remote support.
Reports on phone number 8008157918
9 yearsI received this phone number after chatting with a chap named Andy, who had quite the accent - seemed to be from India. He provided it as a callback number to inform him that I had received some funds, supposedly via iTunes gift cards, valued at no more than $100 each. Fortunately, I reached out to a mate who clarified that my computer was absolutely fine and advised me to report these numbers. They claimed they needed to fix my device since it had been compromised by the Zeus Trojan and whatnot. He was incredibly persuasive, but I can't shake off this feeling of having been taken for a ride.AndyIndia10 yearsThis individual appears to be quite the con artist.10 yearsI've been bombarded with calls from some "Bodalia K" on 442 222 5527, urging me to ring 800-815-7918 for Easy Tech and speak to someone named Alex Martin. A while back, I paid around £400 for them to sort my computer out due to some nasty viruses purportedly originating from Russia. Now, they're back on the line claiming that dodgy adult websites are cropping up under my name. I've chosen to ignore these calls, yet I'm rather worried since the number they're providing is listed on the official Easy Tech website. If Easy Tech is a bona fide business, shouldn't they be addressing these issues with their contact details? Bit of assistance would be appreciated!Easy TechAlex MartinRussia10 yearsBeware of Alex Martin; he's nothing but a con artist!Alex Martin10 yearsI can unequivocally say that this is a total scam. It’s crucial we put a stop to such deceptive practices.10 yearsI've received a couple of calls from this number, both times from a chap named Sam Scott claiming to be with Cube Solutions. He mentioned that my details were being misused for pornographic films and insisted that I should grant them access to my computer. I ended the conversation quite promptly, as I recall they rang me several months back spinning a similar yarn, which ultimately cost me £300. I had to put a stop on that payment since I was chatting with a mate over Skype at the time, and he advised me that it all sounded dodgy and not a legitimate operation.Sam ScottCube SolutionsSkype10 yearsHello there, it's Buddy Hudson here. I've just taken out a subscription with your service, but I’ve hit a little snag. After your team sorted out my computer, it unfortunately went belly up again within a week. I struggled to reach your support, and ended up contacting Microsoft instead. Their repair crew required me to enlist in their service plan. Given that I now find myself with two separate programmes, I would prefer to cancel my subscription with you. Could you please drop me an email at [email protected]? Thank you!Buddy HudsonMicrosoftSubmit Your Own Report (0800 815 7918)
