Luckily, I rung up a mate who said my computer was fine and to report those phone numbers straight away. Andy claimed my PC was hacked and infected with the Zeus trojan or something similar. He sounded so genuine though... They sounded so genuine that I believed them and they put me through to this number. I let them access my computer and they said they fixed the issue, even offering a year’s warranty. When I said I didn't have £339 to pay straight away, they said they'd just take it from my bank account after 5 days. Turns out it was all a scam - I reported it to my bank straight away. Now I’m stuck having to clean my PC. Both the person pretending to be from Apple and someone called Instaglobe Easy Tech spoke with foreign accents. They were very smooth talkers, I just wish I'd looked into things properly before giving them control of my computer.
