Received a voicemail purporting to be from UPS, but I only managed to catch the tail end before the recording looped back to some Chinese language - definitely sounds like spam to me. Realistically, they don’t make outgoing calls; it's usually the other way around with those 800 numbers. Just goes to show, keep your wits about you!

I’ve been informed that a parcel I supposedly sent to Guangzhou, China back in November has raised some red flags regarding potential illegal activities. What on earth is going on?! They even seem to have my personal details! It’s quite absurd. They offered to connect me with the local authorities in Guangzhou, but I assured them I could handle it on my own, seeing as my mother is employed in a notary office. Quite the situation, isn’t it?

The callers communicated solely in Mandarin and feigned to be representatives from UPS International. They seemed rather keen on acquiring my personal details.
