Got a call from this number, a lady with what sounded like a Middle Eastern or maybe Indian accent. She said the US government was giving me £9,000. She gave me a follow-up number to call, but I didn’t share any personal details and probably won’t. She also gave me some ID number to pass on to her boss, who she said was the “comptroller” in charge. I’m pretty sure it’s a con, but would appreciate if you can confirm. Cheers.
