Received a call but they didn’t bother leaving a message, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

I just received a call from this number, and it was a lady with either a Middle Eastern or perhaps Indian accent. She mentioned that the U.S. government was offering me a grant of $9,000! I haven’t shared any personal details with the "follow-up" number she left me, and I doubt I will. She also gave me an ID number to pass along to her manager, referred to as the "comptroller" of this scheme. I'm nearly convinced it's a con, but I'm optimistic someone here can confirm that for me. Cheers!
