Honestly, what a con! I never purchase magazines, so this just stinks of a scam.

Received a call regarding the renewal of my magazine subscription. The person on the line assured me they’d handle it and would ring me back.

I received a rather puzzling call about a magazine subscription that I supposedly had. I firmly stated that I hadn't ordered anything, but the caller insisted that I had received a customer package and hadn’t cancelled it within 10 days. I protested that I hadn’t seen any such package at all! They then proceeded to ask for my birthday and bank details. Frustrated, I requested to speak to a supervisor, but all I got was silence followed by a dead line. When I attempted to call the number again, I was bombarded with recordings offering various prizes, yet I couldn’t get through to a real person. The automated message prompted me to ring a different number, which then led me to a 411 service to verify my phone number. What a ridiculous ordeal! Now I’m left frantically searching for a way to cancel any of this nonsense.

These chaps are complete frauds! They're claiming that I've subscribed to certain magazines with a debit card I never use-it's a prepaid one, for goodness' sake! Now they're insisting I'm liable for some ridiculous magazine bill! The truth is, I only ever read magazines online for free. Absolute con artists, if you ask me! If I notice anything amiss in my account, I'm definitely taking this to the authorities.

I received a recorded phone call inquiring whether anyone residing in my home was over the age of 50. To which I replied in the negative. Immediately after, I was presented with an enticing offer of a £100 voucher that could be used at “numerous well-known retailers” - all for a mere £1.95 charge. Honestly, I might have popped out into the world recently, but I certainly didn't fall off the turnip truck this morning!
