I’m on the no-call register and yet these muppets still ring me up. Just now, this number popped up, and they were asking for some rubbish person first thing at 8:30 in the morning. Totally against the rules, right? I told them straight, if they keep this up, the feds or secret service might get involved. They said they’d remove me from their list, so fingers crossed they actually do it.

This number left me a recorded message, but never mentioned any name. They claimed to be debt collectors and asked me to ring back about some file number they provided. No way! I don’t owe a penny to anybody. These lot keep pestering me and it’s really frustrating. They should just stop bothering people like me.

On 12/06/2014 at 11:47 in the morning, I got a ring from 800-656-9308, which showed up as "TOLL FREE CALLE" on my caller ID. Curious, I called back without letting them know who I was. The automated message said something like, “Thanks for contacting ERC. This call will be recorded and could be reviewed for training and quality checks. For paying through our automated system, press one. For a paid-in-full or settlement letter, hit two. To report a wrong number, press three. If you want to chat with a representative, select four.” Felt a bit dodgy, honestly.
