When I inquired who she represented, she mentioned something along the lines of ERC or EMR - some initials that didn’t ring any bells for me. I told her that her vague answer didn’t put my mind at ease, and I wasn’t inclined to share any personal information. She seemed a bit huffy about it, remarked that she’d document my refusal to verify, and promptly ended the call. Quite the odd encounter, really!ERCEMR9 yearsI received a voicemail featuring a lady claiming to be from the police. She mentioned that my residence-without specifying my name or address-is supposedly being probed by the IRS.
