Just got two calls, first one showed up as VERIZON. The person claimed it was an apology from my electric company, then suddenly started talking about some rebate I supposedly qualified for. I cut the call right there. The next caller claimed to be from penelec, but when I checked the number, it turned out to be a scam. Even though our number isn’t listed, it doesn’t really stop this kind of rubbish. Best not to pick up unfamiliar numbers or just wait for a voicemail - scammers rarely bother leaving one anyway.

Even after I told them to take my number off their list, these vile scammers just keep ringing me. Absolute nightmare!

They just keep ringing and straight away goes to voicemail every time.
