I've had a couple of calls lately that left me scratching my head. The first one came up as VERIZON on the caller ID. The individual on the other end claimed they were calling to apologise on behalf of my electric company and then went on about how I was eligible for some sort of rebate. I didn’t stick around to find out more - hung up straight away! The second call was from Penelec, and upon checking the number, it turned out to be yet another dodgy scam. It's infuriating! We have an unlisted number, but it seems to make no difference whatsoever. My advice? Don’t pick up if you don’t recognise the number, or just wait to see if they leave a voicemail-scammers tend to shy away from that.

These despicable scammers are simply relentless! Even after I’ve made it crystal clear that they need to take my number off their list, they still keep dialling. It's absolutely infuriating!
