They asked me for my full credit card details, including the expiry date and CVV, which instantly felt dodgy. I rang Scotiabank myself, and they told me there were no transactions or outgoing calls logged on my card at those times. Seems like these fraudsters are using some kind of number spoofing trick to pretend they’re from the bank. I’ve reported this to Scotiabank and strongly recommend others do the same.
