I kept getting calls all day from someone claiming to be with Bell, trying to verify my address. When I asked her to tell me the address she wanted to check, she refused and said it was confidential, insisting I tell her my address instead. I refused as I wasn’t sure who she really was. I asked her to just send me an email, but she said she didn’t have my email. Then her tone shifted and she said, "I reckon you know why I’m calling and you’re just avoiding it." I asked, "Avoid what exactly?" She just said, "Never mind, have a good day," and cut me off while I was still talking.

I've had this number blocked for more than twelve months now, yet somehow they manage to leave a voicemail every now and then. Not sure how they’re getting past the block, since the number still shows up as blocked on my phone from time to time. It's weird, maybe they've figured out a way to dodge the block or something.

Anyone manages to find out who these jerks are, please tell me. I’d be more than happy to deal with each and every one of them. It really pisses me off when people hide behind their phones and won’t even show their face.

I was getting calls from this number like twice or three times daily. My phone always flagged it as spam so I didn’t pick up. Reading through all your comments has made me realise what kind of calls these really are - cheers to everyone for the heads-up!

Got a call at work from some bloke saying I need to cough up a sum of cash by 9 tonight or else there’ll be serious trouble. Honestly, I just laughed it off.

I've been getting calls from these people multiple times a day, like 3 to 5 times, almost every week at least three days a week. At first, they claimed I owed money to Bell Mobility. I just hung up once they asked for my name. Though I blocked them on my phone, they still manage to leave voicemail threats saying I need to call by 5 pm or I’ll face legal action. I just delete the messages and ignore them. No idea how they’re getting through the block to leave those voicemails. This has been going on for about six months now, and I’m absolutely fed up with it.

Got a call from some lot saying I owe cash for an account that’s not mine at all. They wanted my National Insurance number to ‘check’ who I am. Didn’t give it to them of course. They keep ringing non stop for months now, every time I block one number, another pops up. They say I owe money to Virgin Mobile and Rogers accounts I’ve never even signed up for. Told them I’d sort it with a lawyer, and this woman tells me “you got money for a lawyer but not to pay what you owe.” Mate, I have money for a lawyer so I don’t have to pay something that’s fake. They haven’t shown me any proof that I owe anything. Absolute nightmare.

Got a call at the office from someone saying I owed money on a Visa card. I was totally confused so I rang the bank they named up, but they had no record of any debt. The person on the phone claiming to be a debt collector was pretty rude and started shouting. They refused to confirm any details about the debt unless I gave them my social insurance number, which I wouldn’t do. When I asked them to send a detailed statement of the charges in writing, they flat out said no.

I keep getting calls from someone asking for a person who doesn't even live here. They leave messages saying it's something urgent about business and to call back immediately. The caller says they’re from TCR and PC Unlimited or something like that. Everyone I know told me to just ignore the calls cos it’s a bit scary. Does anyone know how to stop these calls for good?

Got a voicemail saying it was something urgent, so I rang back. I kept asking what company they were from, but the person just wouldn’t say and kept pressing buttons in the background. After a while, I gave up and ended the call. Felt like they were fishing for my details or maybe trying to keep me on the line to hack something, not sure if that’s a thing but I wasn’t taking any chances!

They began by ringing about some urgent business issue, saying they're from TCR. I blocked the number but somehow they still managed to drop a voicemail. When I didn't answer, all calls went straight to voicemail, and now they’re calling themselves Pc Unlimited. I looked up the number on Google since it felt like harassment and probably a scam. The TCR site doesn’t even show this number anywhere on their contact page.

No clue who they think they're after, and since our accounts are all current, it's like we can't make them stop calling. They just keep shouting at us non-stop.
