I keep getting calls from this number and each time I pick up, they just end the call straight away. I don't have the slightest idea who it could be. A while back, maybe 5 months ago, someone mentioned that it might be Great Lakes Student Loans calling, but if that's the case, why don’t they leave a voicemail or say anything when I answer? It’s really sketchy if you ask me.

Just got a call from Great Lakes Student Loan servicer. To those saying it’s a scam, honestly, you’re wrong. They’re ringing because you’ve missed payments on your student loans. FYI, pretending not to have student loans or dodging calls won’t make the debt disappear. It just messes up your credit score badly. If you keep ignoring it, eventually they might take legal action, take money straight from your pay, and if worst comes to worst, they could even go after your social security. Best thing is to pick up and sort it out.
