I can say without a doubt, it's a blatant scam!

I got a call from someone claiming to be a federal agent (ha!), and here I am in Canada. It's definitely a scam! Big thanks to everyone who flagged this. I've gone ahead and blocked that number, so fingers crossed it won’t haunt me again.

Such a shame for the lovely flower shop that’s stuck with this number. I've been getting these dodgy calls insisting that I owe money to the Canadian authorities. Mind you, I reside in the States! Whatever you do, ignore their calls; they’ll just keep harassing you. Honestly, the best course of action is to steer clear of answering altogether.

Today, the 2nd of March, 2018, I found myself on the receiving end of a similar call, just like many others have shared. It was one of those automated recordings alarming me that federal officers were investigating my affairs and insisted I return their call posthaste. Instead of ringing them back as they demanded, I decided to delve into the web to verify the number, which led me here among a multitude of others who’ve had the same experience. Clearly, this is nothing more than a dodgy scam.

I received a rather alarming call from someone purporting to be with the Canada Revenue Agency. They insisted that I must reach out to them posthaste to avoid a situation involving legal proceedings with a judge. It certainly has all the hallmarks of a scam, if you ask me!

Received a call but then got another one where the caller left a message - clearly a blag. After the initial call, I rang them back to clarify some details, but they abruptly cut me off mid-conversation. Total scam.

Received a dubious phone call - best to ignore it altogether, and steer clear of returning the call. They left a message claiming it was a final effort to contact me regarding overdue taxes from the Canadian National Treasury and the CRA, threatening some sort of enforcement action. The absurdity is that it’s currently tax season, and I have an active account with the CRA, so I'm fully aware of my tax standing. Oddly, these calls come from a variety of different 1-800 and 1-850 numbers, what a bizarre coincidence! It’s pretty clear this is just a scam trying to catch people out. Stay vigilant!

I've received a dodgy call from this number, with the caller insisting I need to ring back to sort out a so-called issue involving a federal agent, or some such nonsense. Definitely feels like a scam to me!

I got a call from this number today, and it was the very first time I had ever seen it. Oddly enough, the recorded message stated it was my LAST chance to respond to an urgent communication from the revenue service. It urged me to ring back right away to chat with a federal agent. Upon calling, I was greeted by an answering service that provided no real details, simply instructing me to leave my number and they would get back to me. Quite bizarre, if you ask me!

I got a text asserting it was their final effort to contact me, which is laughable since I've never had a call from this number prior. They alleged to be from the tax office and insisted I must ring them to sort out some supposed "issue", although they failed to specify what that might be. Clearly, this is just a SCAM!
