Seemed obvious to me it was a scam.

Got a call from someone pretending to be a federal agent, which is hilarious since I live in Canada. Definitely a scam, no doubt about it! Thanks to everyone who's shared their experiences. I've blocked the number now and fingers crossed they don’t call me again.

This number actually belongs to a small florist, which makes it worse. I got a dodgy call saying I owed money to the Canadian government, which is nonsense because I'm in the States. If you pick up, they'll just keep ringing back. Best just to ignore it completely.

Got a call like this today, 2nd March 2018, like many others seem to have. It was one of those recorded messages telling me that federal agents were looking into me and that I needed to ring them straightaway. Instead of panicking, I searched the number online and found loads of others reporting the same thing. Pretty clear this is some kind of scam.

Just got a call from someone saying they’re with the Canada Revenue Agency. They told me it was my final warning to get in touch before being taken to court. Sounds like a total scam to me!

I got two calls from the same number, the second one even left a voicemail, looked like a complete scam. After the first call, I rang them back and tried asking some stuff, but they just cut me off halfway through. Definitely a dodgy setup!

Avoid answering this number or returning their call. They left a voicemail claiming it's their final try to contact me about overdue taxes with the Canadian Revenue Agency, threatening some kind of enforcement. Thing is, it’s tax season now and I regularly check my CRA account, so I know if I owe anything or not. Plus, they keep switching numbers - I’ve gotten identical calls from various 1-800 and 1-850 prefixes over the last couple of weeks. Definitely a scam.

This number called me saying there was some problem I needed to sort out with a federal officer or something like that. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Got a call from this number today but it was the very first time. Strangely, the automated message claimed it was the last try to contact me about an urgent matter from the internal revenue service. They told me to ring back on this number right away to talk to a federal agent. When I did call, only an answering machine answered saying to leave my number and someone would get back to me, but no other details were given.
