Received a rather dodgy call today from someone with a foreign accent, claiming to represent the Department of Legal Affairs. They insisted that if I didn’t return the call immediately, the police would come knocking at our door. This dreadful call was directed at my 94-year-old mother, and it completely terrified her. I recognise it's a scam, but something really ought to be done to tackle this nonsense. Cheers!
