This number is seriously starting to annoy me. They keep ringing my mobile over and over again, and of course it's a long distance call, so I end up footing the bill every single time! Just the other day, they bombarded me with calls one after the other. It went like this: Dec 2 2013 at 9:44am, then immediately again at 9:45am, and twice more around 9:45am and 9:46am. Despite me being on the CRTC National Do Not Call Registry, they just won’t stop ringing. It’s so frustrating!

Every time one of those calls comes through, I just mess with them for a bit. I pretend I can’t quite get what they’re saying, go over stuff like I’m brain dead, and keep throwing out nonsense credit card details. It’s hilarious watching them get more and more frustrated until they put me through to their manager. Right when I think they’re about to hang up, I ask the manager how it feels to be on the receiving end of time-wasting. Honestly, you should give it a go, it’s quite entertaining. Been a while since I had one of those calls though.

If you reckon or find out it's a scam, just save the number in your phone and tag it as dodgy. Then, next time it pops up on your caller ID, you’ll get a few rings to scramble and get to your phone before it goes to voicemail. Cheers for the tip, seriously!

Yesterday I was up a ladder when the phone rang and, wouldn’t you know it, I supposedly won some holiday. These telecom firms seem completely useless in stopping these annoying calls, so I’ve taken matters into my own hands. The moment they pick up after pressing 1, I blast them with my annoyingly loud coaching whistle. I’ve got a bit of a laugh hearing their shocked reactions and then getting hung up on. If anyone wants to take me to court - bring it on, all the way from Nigeria or wherever!

Yesterday just before 10 in the morning, I got a call, but I just let it ring out. If you’re using an iPhone with the latest iOS 7 update, there’s a way to block numbers so they can’t ring you again. It’s pretty handy for avoiding unwanted calls!
