Got a call from someone asking if I lived at a place I've never been near in my life. They then promised to take my number off their list. I explained the number isn't actually mine - it's for a company I work with, and they cover the phone bill. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

This number keeps ringing me multiple times early in the morning from 7am, they call once, then again half an hour later, then nonstop redialing for around 15 mins.
Then it kicks off again around 5 in the evening with the same routine. I've picked up a few times but usually, there’s silence when I say hello. Sometimes it says "Hold the line," but after waiting a couple of minutes, I just hang up.
Does anyone know how to put an end to this constant pestering?
