Earlier today, at around 8:20 AM, a woman called and insisted that we had previously conversed and that there were recorded messages proving I owed Telus Mobility the rather hefty sum of £982. I found it utterly ludicrous as I haven’t had a mobile phone in over two decades! When she then prompted me to confirm my date of birth, I immediately sensed that this was a classic scam. I kindly requested that she take my details off her list. Ridiculous, isn’t it?

I keep receiving calls from someone asking for a woman I’ve never heard of. They never reveal who they are. I’ve mentioned that I have no connection to this Nancy person and that I only just got this number recently, so she can’t be reached here anymore. The caller, who seems to have some difficulty with English, insists she has spoken to Nancy before at this Nebraska number. I’ve requested multiple times for my number to be taken off their list, explaining it’s new and that I’ve only had it for a few months. They assure me my number will be removed, yet I find myself hanging up only to have them keep calling back. It’s quite relentless, to be honest!
