I'm really hoping that Bell Canada can finally put an end to this nonsense. According to the CRTC and DNCL regulations, these calls shouldn't even be happening. If you have the number they're using, you ought to pass it along to them so they can deal with it. Another option is to contact the Vancouver Police; they could send an officer to investigate and potentially file charges for breaching telemarketing regulations. Even though these chaps are based in BC, they’re still under the purview of Bell Canada, which means their services could face suspension.

Honestly, if they wish to avoid coming across as impolite, they ought to at least disclose who they are! After pressing them about whether they even knew my surname, it became evident they had dialled the wrong person. It definitely had the feel of a scam, if you ask me!

It was quite apparent that they hadn’t the foggiest idea as to whom they were attempting to reach. To be honest, I’ve never been involved in any sort of transaction that would leave me with debts; it's quite baffling!
