This person rang me up trying to confirm my details, but I asked who he was a few times and wouldn’t say who I was. After that, he just ended the call.

Absolute idiots! They ask you to confirm your details before ever saying what the call is about. Definitely don’t fall for it, it’s a total scam.

I got a call from this number and the person on the line had an Indian accent. They kept asking me to verify my address. When I asked what it was about, they said they'd connect me to a business issue after I confirmed it. I wanted to know what business, but all they did was repeat the address confirmation request. I just ended the call right there. Felt really dodgy to me. Honestly, it kind of reminded me of another call I got last week, supposedly from the IRS about some debt. Just a heads up - the IRS never calls you directly, so don’t engage!

So this guy called me up, tried to confirm my address and hinted he was chasing a debt. He asked for my date of birth, but I didn’t want to give it out. After I said no, he told me he couldn’t go on without that info and just ended the call.
