Got a call from this number on Saturday and instantly knew it was dodgy. I tried ringing back the next day, Sunday, but no one picked up. Government offices definitely don’t operate over the weekend. People should sort out their own jobs instead of hounding those who are actually working. The automated message was all scrambled too.

Got a call from some automated voice warning me about being under fraud investigation and saying my case would be taken to court if I didn’t get back to them. Sounds like a scam to me.

Some robot voice called me up saying I was caught doing fake taxes or something. It said since I ignored their last call, they were gonna upload my tax papers straight to the federal court. Totally weird and kinda scary.

Got a weird robocall from some bloke’s voice, didn't catch the start of the message properly. Said something about the US Government and that they’d been trying to reach me for half a year but no luck. This was the first time I’ve ever had a call like that. They also mentioned there’d be legal action for fraud if I didn’t call back the number they left. Quite odd really.

I keep blocking the numbers, but they always seem to ring me up from a new one. It’s like they never stop trying! Really frustrating.

I got a voicemail saying I owed money to the IRS and if I didn’t pay up, they’d send a warrant for my arrest. When I called back, the first bloke spoke with a weird accent, claiming he was an IRS official and even gave me a badge number. He told me I had to cooperate or else I'd be arrested. I agreed to cooperate, then another guy, also with a thick accent, came on and told me to pop down to Safeway and buy three Google Play cards for the payment. He said he was based in Washington, DC, but the number showed up from California, which was pretty suspicious. I wasn’t having any of it and gave them a proper earful. Classic IRS scam, don’t fall for it!
