Initially, the caller introduced themselves as Family Builders and inquired if I had any home renovation plans on the horizon. I kindly declined, but the calls continued to flood in. When I spoke to one gentleman and mentioned the persistent nature of their calls, he insisted that they hadn’t reached out to me at all. Then, on the next occasion, a lady called, and I firmly expressed, "What part of 'no' do you not comprehend?" She promptly ended the call. Initially, there was silence, then I caught him mutter an expletive in the background. I asked him to repeat himself, and he claimed he was working for his uncle's repair business and wanted to set up a visit. I told him I was open to it, but there was no way I’d be sharing my address or allowing him to come over if he was trying to pull a fast one. I mentioned my dogs might have something to say about that! He seemed taken aback and abruptly hung up. Quite the amusing exchange, really.
