This bloke said he was Kevin Mason, going on about the US Treasury and how I might face legal trouble or prosecution. Ha! Do I look daft? I wasn’t born yesterday. Honestly, I wish there was some way to get these muppets done for what they’re doing. They mainly target the elderly, especially those well into their years. I’m 58 and had the same nonsense a couple of years back. The phone company? Said they couldn't do much. Sure, I can block one number, but they just ring from another. Please, folks, if you get a letter through the post or from a courier like FedEx or UPS, don’t call these idiots back. They just want to scare you, probably to get your money. Use your brain and trust your gut. Total scam, every time.

So just got a call from someone who said his name was Kevin Mason from the Treasury or something like that, threatening legal action or whatever. His accent was weird, like he swapped out 'v's for 'w's which made it hard to catch what he was saying. I rang the number back and a person picked up saying "Treasury Department, hello? Hello?" but I stayed silent so there wasn’t any chat. Felt a bit fishy to me.

Got a call from someone named Kevin Mason, he had a strong accent and was pretty vague but mentioned something about legal trouble if I didn’t call him back. The number he gave was 706-223-2628. Was a bit sketchy to say the least.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the treasury, saying it was important not to ignore their call. I rang the number back and ended up speaking to a bloke named David, who sounded just like the "Kevin Mason" chap who kept ringing my home over and over. When I told him I suspected it was a scam and that I'd be reporting them, he just cut me off straight away. It's clear they're going after elderly folks... Someone needs to shut them down!

Got a call from someone saying they were from the Treasury Department - turned out to be a total scam.

Got a couple of creepy messages from this number today. They warned me that if I ignored the message, it’d count as a second violation by the US Treasury but never said what I supposedly did wrong. About a week ago, I also had a scary call from somewhere else like this. Are these scammers just really active right now? If anyone can, please make sure to report it.

On 30th July, I got loads of voice mails saying I'd be arrested or hit with a grand jury indictment if I didn’t ring back right away. It was really threatening stuff.
