Could someone possibly swing by and have a word with these folks? It's rather frustrating to see the same routine being played out over and over again.

I received a call from this number earlier today. I chose to let it ring out, as it wasn't a familiar one. The voice message I received turned out to be straight out of the playbook for those CRA scams everyone’s been talking about. Luckily, I'm well-versed in how the CRA operates, so I recognised it was a scam straight away, but I worry about those who might not know better. My recommendation to anyone who gets such a call is to just disregard that number completely. Instead, reach out to the CRA directly to report the incident. Stay safe!

Received a call from this number earlier today. It was a Saturday around 4 PM.

Received a call from this number, and the bloke on the other end claimed to be Officer Greg Williams. It was the usual scam from the CRA, trying to scare folks into believing they’re in hot water, all to squeeze some cash out of them.
