The people on the line said they were from BT tech support and tried to say there was an emergency, threatening to disconnect the internet if a payment wasn’t made over the phone. The weird thing is my client doesn’t even have internet! It’s disgusting how they’re targeting older people who are vulnerable. I’ve told them flat out it’s a scam and to stop calling but they keep ringing every 30 minutes.
