Received a call on my mobile which ended up costing me a fiver! It was a premium rate text. The number was 700040367.

EE has hit me with a £4.70 charge for this number and an extra £2.50 for a different 7000 number. Thing is, I checked my call history around those days and these numbers don’t show up anywhere - and I’d usually block them if I did see them. Feels like EE might be scamming me? I’m planning to ring my network provider first thing tomorrow to sort it out.
