I received a rather alarming message claiming to be a "Final Notice" addressed to me, prompting me to collect a package at the provided link. It ominously warned that if I failed to act, my parcel would be sent back at the stroke of midnight. I have no intention of clicking on that link, guessing it’s likely a scam or worse, a virus trap. Interestingly, there’s no reply option on this message either. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I’ve lost a whopping £40 or so because of this number, which I hadn’t even called or heard of before! I only discovered it lurking in my call history. I reached out to O2 for help, but they just seemed indifferent and claimed it wasn't their issue. It’s quite frustrating! If this sort of scam keeps going, I reckon I’ll be cutting my ties with my contract, and I wouldn’t be surprised if many others do the same.

I've just got my bill from Orange, and they reckon I called 66666 on the 11th of September for a whopping 15 minutes at £1.50 a minute. The thing is, I categorically did not make that call, and that number is nowhere to be found in my call log. They have told me to reach out to the Phone Paid Services Authority. I've filled out their online form and even followed up with a phone chat. They mentioned that 66666 is linked to Fonix. So, I reached out to them, only to find out they only handle short code text messages. They then pointed me towards Mgage. I tried contacting Mgage, but ended up being redirected to Atlanta, Georgia, where I was informed yet again that they only manage short code SMS numbers. It all seems rather dodgy, and I'm beginning to suspect that SIM cards can be cloned just like various other things!
