I received a call on my mobile from a woman who stated she was representing the Loan department. When I probed her about her identification, such as her name, corporate email, rank, or the loan system she was using, she seemed completely flummoxed. Shockingly, she claimed to be utilising a free software development tool, Eclipse, as if it were the Citi loan system. I'm sceptical about whether she genuinely works for Citi Bank; her lack of knowledge strikes me as incredibly unprofessional and far-fetched. Unfortunately, verifying her details over the phone was not possible, and it leaves me with a rather poor impression of Citi Bank's management practices. It truly reflects a worrying state of affairs within their internal operations.

Absolutely, it's definitely Citibank that's behind this. I received a text asking me to ring this number about my credit card account being closed. So, I did as instructed, but after what felt like an eternity, someone finally picked up. The woman on the other end insisted she was with the loans division and couldn't assist me with my query. She assured me that someone would return my call. I’m still sitting here, twiddling my thumbs, waiting for that callback!

Today, I got a peculiar call from the same number not once, but twice! I decided to get to the bottom of it and reached out to Citibank via their live chat. To my surprise, they assured me that no calls had been placed to me today. The representative I spoke to seemed a bit flummoxed, repeatedly inquiring about loans I have no interest in.
