66033 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 66033 👆 is reported as a premium-rate text scam primarily linked to Zamano Solutions, charging individuals around £2.50 to £3 per unsolicited message without clear consent. Many users, including those on major UK networks like EE, O2, Vodafone, and Three, report regular unauthorised texts and subsequent billing, often for adult content services. Complaints highlight difficulties stopping the charges, limited support from mobile providers, and mixed success obtaining refunds - usually requiring direct contact with Zamano or regulatory bodies such as PhonepayPlus. Victims advise against replying to texts, recommending instead to contact the provider to block premium services and pursue refunds formally. The scam exploits a loophole whereby receiving texts incurs fees, leading to widespread financial loss and frustration. Vigilance over bills and prompt action are essential to mitigate impact.

Got a text supposedly from EE about an eSIM, sounded a bit too good to be real, so I'm pretty sure it's just a scam.

Got a message claiming to be from Ee, saying I need to reply yes to get a free new sim card. But it doesn’t appear with my other Ee texts, it’s on a different thread entirely. Feels dodgy, I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.

Got a message from EE about my broadband fault. It said something about VOL*** and that my connection should be fixed now. If it’s still acting up, they told me to just reply HELPME and they’d ring me back quickly. They also mentioned if I’ve already got an appointment booked, then no need to worry about the message.

Got ee broadband sorted recently and this number popped up with some help text. It said text "assist" and then confirm a call back but there’s a fee involved. After checking out the reviews, it looks like a total scam. Luckily, a message flashed up saying the number was unrecognised right before I was about to pick up. Thank god for that!

you should get in touch with phonepayplus online. my partner kept recieving these saturday texts for almost a year! he never bothered opening any, just deleted them straight away because they mentioned some ‘hot babes’ thing lol. when he finally mentioned it to me, i looked through the phone bills and noticed he’d been charged £2.50 each time! i submitted a complaint form to phonepayplus with all the info, and now ive got a full refund of £144 back on my paypal. brilliant result!

For almost a year, my husband was receiving a text message every Saturday without fail! He simply deleted them without a second glance and didn’t mention a word, as the texts had some cheeky reference to 'stunning ladies' :), but when he finally brought it up, I took a look at his phone bills and discovered they were charging him £2.50 each time! I filled out a complaint form with every bit of information I could muster for PhonepayPlus, and I’m thrilled to report that I’ve just received a complete refund of £144 in my PayPal account.

For the past four months straight I've noticed strange charges hitting my son's account. It looks like someone from 66033 has been sending loads of unwanted texts, each one taking £3 out of our balance. No clue how to put an end to this and it's really frustrating.
10 years
I’ve never been in touch with this lot, yet they’ve managed to siphon off £15 from my account each month for premium rate texts!
10 years
This is downright outrageous; it's theft, plain and simple, to siphon money from individuals' accounts. I intend to reclaim every last penny from this dreadful company.

Since May, I've been hit with a monthly charge of £15, and as I tend to use just the mobile version to check my account, I completely overlooked what those additional fees pertained to. I just assumed it was for things like picture messages or the like! £15 a month is quite a shocker! How on earth can I put a stop to this and get my money back?
10 years
Absolutely, it seems likely that it’s merely a clever ruse to swindle your cash through pay-as-you-go mobile plans. What a right cheek!

Urgent assistance needed! Over the last few months, I've been hit with an average charge of £20 each month for this and another number. Unfortunately, O2 is proving to be no help at all. Does anyone have any advice on how I could possibly reclaim my funds? Cheers!

I’ve had a chat with O2, and they suggested I shoot a text over to 66033 with the word STOP. Fingers crossed that does the trick!

I’ve just noticed a £15 deduction from my O2 account, which is absolutely outrageous. I’ve already blocked the number, yet they continue to get through. It’s scandalous that they can operate like this without any repercussions.

my young lad had over £100 taken from his account without my permission. I phoned the phone company first, but they said there was nothing they could do and just gave me another number to call. when i rang that number, they agreed to stop the charges and sent me a refund cheque. it’s just frustrating that the phone provider didn’t warn me or step in sooner before it got that high. feels like they might be working together or hoping i wouldn’t catch on?
10 years
I reckon you should reach out to OFCOM and let them know what's going on. Your service provider ought to assist you in obtaining a refund while you're at it. Make sure to review all the dates they billed you for, and seek to reclaim every penny you’re owed.

By signing into your Vodafone account online, you have the ability to manage your telephone call preferences, including the option to block both incoming and outgoing calls to premium rate numbers. I found the settings to make these adjustments were there, and they assisted me in sorting it out. After lodging a complaint, I even managed to get a refund for the charges. However, it feels like a bit of a scam overall; it’s like daylight robbery! If I were to nick three quid’s worth of goods from a shop, I’d be in hot water with the law straight away!

I can't believe I've been fleeced by these charlatans! They snuck a charge of £3 per text out of my pocket without so much as a nod of consent! I've sent a "STOP" message, blocked the number, and even shot an email over to zamano.com, which seems to be the source of these irritating messages. Fingers crossed they cease their relentless harassment. So far, I’ve steered clear of the Vodafone support line-I've heard it’s a right mess-but I suppose reaching out to them might be my next move? Does anyone have any other bright ideas on how to tackle this pesky situation?

I've had a pair of text messages land in my inbox out of the blue, and I’m completely baffled as to their origin. To make matters worse, they’ve slapped a charge of £8.00 on my account. My service provider isn’t able to halt these messages either, which is rather frustrating!

I encountered a similar issue, as I had never visited any such website before. Suddenly, I began receiving unsolicited messages and found myself being charged £3 each time. I reached out to my service provider, who managed to block those premium rate numbers for me. After a bit of back and forth, I even managed to get a refund for the charges, following several complaints!

I've been receiving messages from this number at a rate of four per week, and they’re costing me £2.50 each time. I've noticed that both of my lads have been racking up charges from this number - six messages in just the past week. I foot the bill for both their phones, and they swear they haven’t a clue why this is happening. Do you reckon that blocking the number might do the trick?

Absolute disgrace, these vermin... they’re preying on honest, hardworking folks. My father, who's 70, has been getting fleeced by this number month after month, with charges ranging from £15 to £20. It baffles me how phone networks let these dodgy numbers clutter our messages!

I've been getting messages from this number that include some link about "babe's." Honestly, I haven't a clue what it's regarding, but it's costing me £3 each time! My service provider is being unhelpful and won't block it. Any tips on how I can stop these texts and reclaim my cash?

I've taken the liberty of notifying PhonepayPlus, the authoritative body responsible for overseeing premium-rate phone services throughout the UK. I've already lodged a complaint regarding this number. It turns out that the perpetrators go by the name Zanamo Solutions and they're operating out of Dublin. Their office is located at: 3rd Floor, Hospitality House, 16-20 Cumberland Street South, Dublin 2, D2. Moreover, they appear to have ties with a rather dubious outfit called Cellso. Cellso can be found at: 35 Firs Avenue, North London, N11 3NE. Interestingly, this address is home to numerous companies, some of which claim to be worth millions. When you take a gander on Google Street View, it just looks like a quiet little residential area. There’s definitely something fishy afoot, though I can't quite put my finger on it! Despite a slew of complaints directed at PhonepayPlus via their website, it baffles me how these operations are still permitted to function.

I never shared my number with anyone, yet my phone bill got whacked with an £18.00 charge. They drained my pay-as-you-go credit completely, then came a message saying I had no credit left to send texts. I added more credit, only to be bombarded with even more annoying spam messages. I looked it up online and every network just shrugs it off, claiming it’s nothing to do with them!

I've received three texts from the number 66033, and I promptly binned them since I suspected something was off. After glancing through my bill, I was shocked to discover I'd been charged £3.00 for each message, adding up to a whopping £9.00-despite the fact that I never subscribed or even opened the texts! I reached out to Vodafone, but they just shrugged it off, suggesting I should contact the company myself. I've blocked the number now, but alas, I'm £9.00 worse off. What a hassle!

I've noticed that I've been hit with a charge of £2.50 for each text that comes through to my mobile. It popped up four times on my last bill, and lo and behold, it’s happened again four times on this month’s bill as well, racking up to a whopping £20. I've reached out to Vodafone, but they’re not inclined to assist me in any way. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've noticed that I'm being billed £2.50 for a service I never subscribed to. I would really appreciate it if you could put a stop to these charges immediately, as I'm considering switching providers. I’ve not reached out to them at all-no calls, no emails-and I deleted their text without even opening it, given that it looked dodgy and related to girls.

I’ve been in a similar predicament myself. Dialled the number to terminate my subscription, and I got a response stating that the texts would cease and that a cheque would be sent my way. Time will tell if that actually happens!

Just a quick update: I rang a different Customer Service number today, specifically for Zamano Solutions: 01223 59 0555. I managed to opt out and successfully block my number from receiving any future texts. After that, I had a conversation with a customer service representative. I made sure to be assertive yet courteous, and she’s arranged for a full refund for me. I should expect to receive that cheque in the post within the next week. I’ll pop back here next week to let everyone know if everything went smoothly.

I've been inundated with text messages containing a dodgy link, which I’ve steadfastly refused to click on. To my surprise, I’ve just realised that each time I receive one of these messages, it costs me a cheeky £2.50! So, I picked up my landline and dialled 0203 393 3695 to "unsubscribe" from this so-called subscription-mind you, I never signed up for anything in the first place! The lady on the other end was quite helpful and assured me they’d cancel it, but I’m still in the dark about whether it's truly been sorted out-only did this yesterday. Strangely, they didn’t bother telling me about any fees during the call. When I asked how they managed to get my number, she gave a whole list of possible methods-like clicking on an ad while using my phone, or they might have simply bought my details from some third party. Once I’ve got this all squared away, I’ll pop back with an update on my situation. Fingers crossed!

I've received two text messages from this number recently-at least, that's what I've heard because I seem to have filtered them out as spam and can’t find them now. Each message has cost me £2.50, which is utterly absurd! It's baffling that there's no action being taken against these individuals!

It's quite astonishing that the mobile networks aren't taking action against this outright FRAUD. Back in my days working with landline telecoms, we were vigilant in putting a stop to such scams the moment we identified them. We would cut off their revenue streams and terminate the dodgy numbers without a second thought. It's baffling to think that the current providers aren't following suit. I've just had a chat with Vodafone's customer service, and their response was, "I'll be frank, sir, you've subscribed to a service and must reach out to them to opt-out." Really? Is that the best they can do?

I find it absurd that I’m being hit with a charge of £2.50 for each message, especially since I didn’t even request them in the first place! I make it a point to delete those texts without bothering to read them, so how on earth are they managing to swipe my cash?

Had a chat with Three recently, and honestly, the bloke on the line seemed utterly indifferent. He promptly transferred me to an Asian lady who had a rather smug air about her when discussing a refund via cheque. I shared my address with her, but it was at that moment that the network chap conveniently washed his hands of any blame. As for the cheque, well, I’m not getting my hopes up, and believe me, if it doesn’t show up, Three isn't keen on issuing a refund. It feels like a complete stitch-up! What a disappointment! 😒

I recently spotted a spike in my mobile bill, which prompted me to investigate further. To my dismay, I discovered that I had been receiving premium text messages from 66033 that I never subscribed to. I had been mindlessly deleting these texts, not realising each one came with a charge! They've now swiped £27 from my account without any permission. I reached out to my provider, Three, but unfortunately, they weren’t able to assist me in this matter. I've shot off an email to zamano but have yet to hear back from them. Additionally, I tried to ring their office but received no response. I am at a bit of a loss as to what my next steps should be!

I’ve had a rather frustrating experience with 02 lately. After being away from work for a full three months, I mistakenly let my direct debit roll out without really paying attention to the balance. I was certain I hadn’t exceeded my data limit or sent any multimedia messages. Imagine my dismay when I discovered I’d been charged an extra £30 over that period! It feels as though I’ve been fleeced. What’s more perplexing is how they even obtained my number in the first place. This surely raises serious questions about their practices and, frankly, it feels like it borders on fraudulent behaviour!

I've just noticed a £20 charge on my last two O2 bills for some premium service I’ve never even signed up for! I rang O2 earlier, and they mentioned they've received several complaints about this particular number. The chap in customer service did a bit of digging, found the details, and had a word with the company involved, babes.com. He then patched me through to them. I explained that I hadn’t subscribed to anything, and they assured me they’d cancel it, refund me by cheque, and send a text confirming the cancellation. The text has come through, so now I’m waiting on that cheque to arrive! I've blocked the number now. O2 did mention that they can’t halt the payments, but suggested that reaching out to the company directly could resolve it. Fingers crossed!

I've found myself inundated with texts from the number 66033, four in total, and to be clear, I've never opted into anything. They've slapped a £12 surcharge onto my Vodafone bill, which is quite outrageous. When I take a closer look, it seems there's a scandal brewing, with the likes of Vodafone, Orange, and EE seemingly in cahoots with this dubious number. It feels like a proper scam designed to siphon funds from unsuspecting customers. It's astonishing how these companies are seemingly turning a blind eye while 66033 rakes in a tidy profit. It makes you wonder just how much they really care about their customers’ hard-earned cash!

I recently discovered a charge of £10 on my account for four texts from babes2mobi.com that I never consented to receive. I reached out to O2, who suggested I visit http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk for more info. Upon following their advice, I uncovered the business behind it all - Zamano Solutions Ltd, and their phone number (01223 590555). Although I was a bit hesitant, I entered my mobile number and selected option 2 to connect with customer support. I spoke to a rather courteous representative who took my complaint seriously when I insisted I hadn't signed up for these pesky messages. I just initiated this process today, so fingers crossed the cheque arrives as promised!

I'm with O2, and it's rather frustrating, isn't it? This sort of thing cropped up about a year back, and I managed to get O2 to put a stop to it. However, I've been plagued by it yet again, three times in just the past few weeks! It baffles me how my number keeps getting out there when I never share it publicly.
