I got a call from this number, but as soon as I picked up, they just cut off. So, I decided to ring them back, and the person on the other side claimed to be from RBC, asking to verify the name and details of the account owner. Definitely sounded dodgy, so I ended the call straight away.

They said they were from RBC Offers and Services. At the start, I could hear two different voices - first, an African-Canadian lady, then suddenly it switched to a white guy calling himself "Adam Edward," which sounded pretty generic. When I asked for a contact number, he dodged the question and tried to get my details instead. I told him I’d ring back in five minutes, and he casually said, “No worries, we can call you back in 5 minutes.” Seemed a bit suspicious to me.
