We keep getting calls here in Belgium from what sounds like someone speaking French. They always say something about us using loads of water or something. It's getting so annoying we just hang up whenever they ring. The number they call from isn’t even local, it’s some foreign number which makes me think it might be dodgy, like it’s not really from the Belgian water company or something. Really fishy if you ask me.

I got a few calls, maybe 2 or 3, about jobs overseas. They said they were from the employment exchange in New Delhi and wanted me to pay online. Seems like a complete scam to me.

Got two calls today from the same number, spaced a few hours apart. The first time, a guy with an Indian accent claimed he was ringing from National Accident Helpline. When I answered the second time, no one spoke and then the line just went dead. I've been signed up with the TPS for ages, so I hardly ever get these kinds of calls.

I answered saying hello a few times but they just hung up on me. I've gotten calls from this number loads of times already, really sick of these annoying calls. Someone should do something to stop them.

Got a call bright and early at about 7 in the morning. The person asked for me by name, saying something about my phone line. I told him it was really not the best time, especially after pulling a night shift, and he just cut me off straight away. Watch out for this!

Same call centre, obviously. What worked for me was doing a weird heavy breathing impression if it’s a bloke on the phone, or if a woman answered, I’d speak real slow and tell her she sounded really sexy. Weirdly enough, they hung up pretty quick after that!

I got a call on our home phone from a number I didn't recognise. When I picked up, I heard a man talking in English, which caught me off guard because I'm Danish and wasn’t prepared for a call from abroad. I just ended the call straight away. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were Microsoft Windows support. I told them to get lost since I actually use a Mac. Pretty sure it was just a scammer trying to trick me into giving away info.

Just got one of those call blockers for £63 and honestly, it's been brilliant. Haven't had a single unwanted call since I set it up!

I answered and all I could hear was a robotic voice saying "goodbye" after a little while, but no person on the line.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Microsoft support. The bloke said his name was John but honestly sounded more like a Rajesh. No matter how many times I told him he was just a scammer, he kept pushing. He said if I didn’t trust him I was free to hang up - so that’s exactly what I did. Then he called again saying the call got dropped. After wasting a bit of time and pushing my phone bill up, I finally told him to bugger off and never ring me again.
