I receive constant calls from CBV collection agency. They believe that I owe them money, however, they have failed to provide any legal documentation. I am confident that they are unable to take any legal action against me due to the statute of limitations in Ontario. Therefore, I have no intention of ever paying them. Instead, I simply add their number to my smartphone's contact manager and mute the ringer specifically for that number. As a result, I hardly notice when they call anymore. It is always wise to avoid answering calls from unfamiliar numbers and instead research the number on Google first before responding. In fact, I have stored at least 40 different phone numbers associated with CBV on my contact manager.

The phone rang, but the caller ended the call as soon as I answered. Curious, I decided to call the number back and found out that it actually belongs to a debt collection agency. It seems like they use multiple phone numbers for their operations. It's best not to engage with them as it appears to be a scam.

Their method of altering only a few digits suggests that it is indeed the same caller. It is imperative that this cease immediately.

Growing increasingly frustrated, I pressed for their name, and they finally provided it, albeit reluctantly. Persistently, they persisted in their pursuit, so I informed them firmly that I had no acquaintance from British Columbia. In response, they hastily endeavored to connect me with another representative, requesting me to stay on the line. However, feeling exasperated, I opted instead to end the call abruptly. Ever since that moment, they have relentlessly dialed my number day after day.
