Like some folks already said, this number is a premium one. I would’ve been fine if replying didn’t cost anything, but luckily my phone is on a postpaid plan so I didn’t have any credit to pay for it, and the message wouldn’t send anyway. Barclays really ought to step up their game with this.

I got a message from this number after taking out a loan with Barclays for a bathroom makeover with Wickes. It looked like it was really from Barclays, but it turned out to be just a survey and it’s apparently on a premium rate line. The text came just after a legit message from Barclays, so I figured it was real, but since it’s only a survey, no need to reply. Barclays’ original message said the survey was free to answer, but then my phone provider sent me a warning that replying would cost me, so be careful and don’t answer if you don’t want to get charged.

I recently got a genuine post-loan survey from Barclays Partner Finance (BPF). Right before it arrived, I had a text from BPF from 60303 explaining what the next questionnaire was about. They included the last few digits of my loan number, something I’d been emailed before. In my case, it was about the monthly payments for an Apple iPhone, but it seems like it could apply to any item bought on instalments pretty recently.

I got a message from this number as well, and at first thought it might be a scam. But earlier I had a text from Barclays Partner Finance saying they'd be contacting me from this number to ask some questions. So I trusted it and replied. I'm pretty sure it was legitimate Barclays since the questions included stuff nobody else could guess, and they properly identified themselves in that earlier message. They didn't ask for anything that could be useful to others either.

I got a proper text from Barclays about financing an Apple product. It came from their SMS account and had all the right info, so I knew it was legit. Over here in the UK, you can only reply to phone numbers, not those accounts that show just a name.

Got a message from Barclays Partner Finance saying I'd get another text from number 69303 with five questions to answer. The first question asked if my kitchen had been delivered yet. Since I said no, the second text asked if I'd had a partial delivery instead. The third one wanted to know if a new delivery date had been arranged. Then the fourth message gave me details about my direct debit amount and when it’ll come out, plus a heads-up that I’d get a reminder text five days before the payment. After that, the fifth question asked me to rate Wren Kitchens on a scale from 0 to 10. It all seemed quite legit. Later, Barclays Partner Finance sent me a final text thanking me for the answers.

I got a message, said it was from Wickes Building Supplies, telling me to confirm I'd got all my stuff. Then, another text came through, this time pretending to be Barclays, saying some loan I supposedly took out with Wickes was now active. They wanted to ask me five questions to verify my loan details. I've no idea why numbers like this one aren’t blocked by my phone company or why the cops aren’t cracking down on it. So many folks could end up getting caught out by these scams, it's unreal.

These folks keep sending texts all at once, like clockwork, for a couple of days now. They claim to have info on recent charges on your card, but I wouldn’t pick up if they start talking about fees for sending stuff back! Ask them how much it costs, and once you reply, there’s no telling how much they’ll try to charge you.

I got a message from Barclays Partner Finance after I bought an iPhone on their finance scheme. It’s legit and safe, no worries. You should also get a separate text first that says something like "Hi there! Welcome to Barclays Partner Finance. We want to verify your loan details with up to five simple questions. Texts won’t cost anything, and the first question will come soon from 60303." The questions are just yes or no, and you shouldn’t have to send any other kind of reply.

My husband received a message from this number asking him to confirm with a ‘y’ or ‘n’. Thinking it was legit, he replied, but then the same text kept coming through again and again. He won’t admit how many times he responded, but each time he did, they’d send it all over again. The message said something like: “Your first loan repayment of £302.32 is due 30/04/2020 with an APR of 0.0%. Monthly payments are required. Does this info look right? Reply ‘y’ or ‘n’.” Needless to say, it was pretty suspicious!
